⁵ Sustain me with ^(A)raisins;
    refresh me with apples,
    ^(B)for I am sick with love.
⁶ His ^(C)left hand is under my head,
    and his right hand ^(D)embraces me!
⁷ I ^(E)adjure you,^[a] O ^(F)daughters of Jerusalem,
    by ^(G)the gazelles or the does of the field,
that you not stir up or awaken love
    until it pleases.
